La subvention du WBI octroy\u00e9e ce 11 d\u00e9cembre 2020 pour le cofinancement du projet \u00ab Regenerative FabLab \u00bb a pour objectif de renforcer et de compl\u00e9ter l\u2019\u00e9quipement du PaPLaB Ha\u00efti<\/a> dont la cr\u00e9ation \u00e0 Port-au-Prince a \u00e9t\u00e9 rendue possible par l\u2019obtention le 22 mai 2020 d\u2019un premier financement de 30.000 \u20ac octroy\u00e9 par l\u2019Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).<\/p>\n

Ce premier FabLab universitaire ha\u00eftien est op\u00e9rationnel depuis le mois de d\u00e9cembre 2020 pour permettre dans un premier temps de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 l\u2019urgence sanitaire li\u00e9e au Covid19 en impliquant dix \u00e9tudiant.e.s\/makers de la Facult\u00e9 des Sciences de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Etat d\u2019Ha\u00efti (UEH) qui se relayent pour animer le PaPLaB Ha\u00efti au quotidien.<\/p>\n

Il s\u2019agit \u00e9galement de permettre la mise en r\u00e9seau de la communaut\u00e9 universitaire et de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile au moyen d\u2019une plateforme de production num\u00e9rique performante et de p\u00e9renniser ensuite ce projet en ancrant \u00e0 Port-au-Prince un lieu commun de rencontre, de cr\u00e9ation et de partage technique et scientifique inter-universitaire.<\/p>\n

Les cinq imprimantes 3D (Prusa i3\u00a0MK3S) actuellement en service au sein du <\/span>PaPLaB Ha\u00efti seront compl\u00e9t\u00e9es, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la subvention octroy\u00e9e par le WBI, par une d\u00e9coupeuse et graveuse laser, une fraiseuse CNC et un scanner 3D.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le projet aura aussi un impact environnemental positif gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019acquisition d\u2019une d\u00e9chiqueteuse, d\u2019un\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

extrudeur et d\u2019un enrouleur plastique afin de permettre le recyclage de d\u00e9chets plastiques pour la fabrication des consommables n\u00e9cessaire au fonctionnement des imprimantes 3D.<\/p>\n

Les coordinateurs du PaPLaB Ha\u00efti et du projet \u00ab Regenerative FabLab \u00bb subventionn\u00e9 par le WBI sont Kelly Guerrier (FDS – UEH), Isabelle Jolicoeur (URBATeR – UEH), Thomas Waroux et Fabrice Sobczak enseignants \u00e0 la Facult\u00e9 d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme de l’Universit\u00e9 de Mons.<\/p>\n

Ce projet s\u2019inscrit \u00e9galement dans le prolongement du master URBATeR (Urbanisme R\u00e9silient \u2013 Am\u00e9nagement des Territoires \u00e0 Risques) organis\u00e9 dans le cadre d\u2019un Projet de Formation Sud financ\u00e9 par l\u2019ARES au sein de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Etat d\u2019Ha\u00efti (UEH) \u00e0 Port-au-Prince en coop\u00e9ration avec une \u00e9quipe d\u2019enseignant.e.s de l\u2019UMONS active depuis plus de 5 ans et coordonn\u00e9e au sein de la FA+U par Pascal Simoens et Pierre Cornut avec le partenariat de Gu\u00e9na\u00ebl Devillet pour l\u2019ULIEGE.<\/p>\n
