Description

The Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences is divided into 4 thematic courses, which the student can choose from (Pharmaceutical Care, Preclinical Development, Placement Abroad or Research Placement). Regardless of the course chosen, this Master’s degree gives full entitlement to the profession of pharmacist, which is regulated by specific legal and administrative provisions and can only be practised by people with this qualification. This Master’s degree can be completed later by other specialised Master’s programmes: industry, hospital, clinical biology, cosmetology, management.

Teaching profile

The programme description defines the expected learning outcomes at the end of the cycle (Bachelor's, Master's, etc.). The programme description defines the expected learning outcomes, i.e. what the student should know, understand and be able to achieve at the end of a learning activity, a teaching unit or a study cycle (Bachelor's, Master's, etc.). Learning outcomes are defined in terms of knowledge, expertise and soft skills.

At the end of the course, students will be able to:

  • Dispense medicinal and health care products while ensuring their quality and compliance
  • Dispense pharmaceutical care to improve the patient's quality of life
  • Perform pharmaceutical checks on patients requiring them, in order to ensure the effectiveness and safety of the medication, and to identify patients at risk (the elderly, pregnant women, etc.)
  • Manage a structure dedicated to the handling of health products in order to optimise its functioning
  • Comply with pharmaceutical legislation, ethics and deontology
  • Share knowledge during all pharmaceutical procedures.
