En termes financiers, avec ses 10 millions (dont 2,2 millions \u00e0 son b\u00e9n\u00e9fice seul), ce projet est l\u2019un des plus importants que l\u2019UMONS n\u2019ai jamais d\u00e9croch\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9missions anthropiques de CO2 sont la cause majeure du r\u00e9chauffement climatique. Le projet ne se focalisera pas uniquement sur les aspects scientifiques et techniques \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle laboratoire. Il repr\u00e9sentera une avanc\u00e9e majeure pour d\u00e9montrer la maturit\u00e9 de la technologie et l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat de l\u2019utilisation des MOFs.<\/p>\n<p>Trois unit\u00e9s pilotes seront install\u00e9es sur site \u00e0 travers l\u2019Europe pour \u00e9valuer le rapport co\u00fbt-efficacit\u00e9 et la fiabilit\u00e9 de la capture du CO2 dans les secteurs \u00e0 hautes \u00e9missions de CO2 : centrale \u00e9lectrique (Norv\u00e8ge), raffinerie (Turquie), incin\u00e9ration des d\u00e9chets (France).<\/p>\n<p>Pour la partite scientifique, le service de thermodynamique de la Facult\u00e9 Polytechnique de Mons participera \u00e0 l\u2019identification des meilleurs MOFs et les testera pour v\u00e9rifier leur stabilit\u00e9 et d\u00e9terminer les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s d\u2019adsorption sur des \u00e9chenillions de quelques grammes . Le service sera \u00e9galement en charge de mod\u00e9liser un des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s d\u2019adsorption, d\u2019y \u00e9tudier le comportement des MOFs et de les impl\u00e9menter \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle pilote au laboratoire.<\/p>\n<p>Un atelier sur l&rsquo;exploitation des r\u00e9sultats sera organis\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin du projet.
