{"id":1836,"date":"2022-05-06T10:00:37","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T08:00:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.umons.ac.be\/fs\/?p=1836"},"modified":"2022-05-06T10:00:37","modified_gmt":"2022-05-06T08:00:37","slug":"un-article-de-lumons-dans-la-revue-nature-reviews-molecular-cell-biology-consacre-aux-deformations-des-noyaux-cellulaires","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.umons.ac.be\/fs\/fr\/un-article-de-lumons-dans-la-revue-nature-reviews-molecular-cell-biology-consacre-aux-deformations-des-noyaux-cellulaires\/","title":{"rendered":"Un article de l&rsquo;UMONS dans la revue \u00ab Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology \u00bb consacr\u00e9 aux d\u00e9formations des noyaux cellulaires"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dans le prochain num\u00e9ro \u00e0 paraitre de la prestigieuse revue scientifique \u00ab Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology \u00bb, un article sera publi\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00e9quipe du Prof. Gabriele du laboratoire Interfaces et Fluides Complexes de la Facult\u00e9 des Sciences de l\u2019UMONS concernant les recherches actuelles men\u00e9es sur les \u00e9v\u00e9nements de d\u00e9formations de noyaux.<\/p>\n<p>Dans cet article, deux chercheurs de l&rsquo;UMONS dressent un \u00e9tat des lieux des connaissances actuelles concernant les m\u00e9canismes de d\u00e9formations qui peuvent conduire \u00e0 la rupture des noyaux cellulaires et \u00e0 l&rsquo;augmentation de risques de pathologies telles que l&rsquo;apparition de dystrophies, cardiopathies ou m\u00e9tastases. Ces recherches d\u00e9gagent des directions importantes pour les prochains travaux dans ce domaine.<\/p>\n<p>Le noyau d\u2019une cellule remplit une fonction cruciale en prot\u00e9geant notre patrimoine g\u00e9n\u00e9tique (ADN) et en permettant son utilisation correcte. Cependant, les noyaux peuvent \u00eatre largement d\u00e9form\u00e9s lors de leur transit dans des endroits exigus ou m\u00eame comprim\u00e9s au sein des tissus.<\/p>\n<p>Ces d\u00e9formations m\u00e9caniques des noyaux peuvent aller jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la rupture transitoire de leur enveloppe, entrainant alors une d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration partielle de l\u2019ADN. Ces dommages \u00e0 l\u2019ADN peuvent avoir pour cons\u00e9quence un vieillissement acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 des cellules saines et l\u2019acquisition de propri\u00e9t\u00e9s invasives par les cellules tumorales mammaires. A ce titre, des travaux r\u00e9cents indiquent que les d\u00e9formations nucl\u00e9aires sont un \u00e9l\u00e9ment clef de la compr\u00e9hension de nombreuses pathologies comme les dystrophies musculaires, les cardiomyopathies et certains cancers.<\/p>\n<p>Une r\u00e9cente recherche men\u00e9e par Yohalie Kalukula, doctorante FRIA, et le Professeur Sylvain Gabriele de l\u2019\u00e9quipe de m\u00e9canobiologie du laboratoire Interfaces et Fluides Complexes de l\u2019UMONS dresse un \u00e9tat des lieux des connaissances actuelles des d\u00e9formations nucl\u00e9aires et d\u00e9gage les directions importantes des prochains travaux dans ce domaine.<\/p>\n<p>Le duo de chercheurs a collabor\u00e9 avec deux \u00e9quipes am\u00e9ricaines de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Massachusetts\u00a0 (Prof Andrew D.
