Description

The Master’s degree in Management is a 60-credit general course allowing graduates’ successful entry into the business world.

Access conditions

It is taught in the evenings and at weekends, and is accessible to students with a Bachelor’s in Management, a Bachelor’s in Economics and Management, or a Bachelor’s in Business Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.   

Students who have graduated from another type of higher education institution with a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree can also apply for this Master’s programme. Some students will have to take extra courses beforehand in order to have the pre-requisites necessary for the course.

Target audience

Mainly non-university graduates wishing to obtain a “university-level” degree and graduates of other university courses wishing to complement their initial training and managerial and economic skills (with or without a complementary programme, depending on the case).  

Students with a Bachelor’s in Management or Economics and Management can also register on the Master’s course. 

Extra information

The Master’s programme is organised in the evenings and at weekends to meet the requirements of working professionals: on average, three evenings of classes per week (from 6pm to 9pm) and one Saturday per month, complemented by distance learning using our IT platform. 

Program and structure

Distribution of Credits 

The 60-credit block of the Master’s focuses on the skills required in management.  Five major areas of management are covered, both in their strategic and operational aspects:  Finance, Taxation, Management, Marketing, Human Resources.  The programme is complemented by a customised distance learning course in English. 

Teaching profile

The programme description defines the expected learning outcomes, i.e. what the student should know, understand and be able to achieve by the end of a learning activity, a teaching unit or a study cycle (Bachelor's, Master's, etc.). Learning outcomes are defined in terms of knowledge, expertise and soft skills.   

At the end of the Master's, students will be able to: 

  • Mobilise expertise in at least one area of management.    
  • Communicate and present original work in a professional manner both orally and in writing.   
  • Act in an international and multicultural context.  
  • Collaborate within a team and exercise leadership.   
  • Prioritise responsible management practices. 
  • Actively and effectively master knowledge in the different areas of management and use them effectively in a professional context.  
  • Be independent and regularly adapt to new contexts. 
  • Understand the interactions between the company and its socio-economic environment.

Opportunities

All courses offered by the Warocqué School of Business and Economics (FWEG) provide varied opportunities for their graduates.
