Studying Attention in Virtual Reality with Electroencephalography and Eye-Tracking<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

R\u00e9sum\u00e9<\/strong> :<\/p>\n

Le Trouble du d\u00e9ficit de l\u2019Attention avec ou sans Hyperactivit\u00e9 (TDAH) est l\u2019une des maladies psychiatriques les plus pr\u00e9valentes aupr\u00e8s des enfants ( 5% de la population totale). Plusieurs traitements et diagnostics ont \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7us, cependant, certains d\u2019entre eux pr\u00e9sentent un prix \u00e9lev\u00e9, une faible pr\u00e9cision ou des effets secondaires d\u00e9favorables. Une nouvelle m\u00e9thode, le neurofeedback, consiste \u00e0 repr\u00e9senter les signaux biom\u00e9dicaux sous une forme compr\u00e9hensible afin d\u2019aider les participants \u00e0 r\u00e9duire leurs sympt\u00f4mes par eux-m\u00eames. Dans le cadre du d\u00e9veloppement de telles applications, diff\u00e9rents axes de recherche ont \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9r\u00e9s au cours de cette th\u00e8se.
\nPremi\u00e8rement, l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019attention des participants doit \u00eatre mesur\u00e9 et enregistr\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re objective \u00e0 partir de signaux physiologiques. Pour ce faire, un corpus d\u2019\u00c9lectroenc\u00e9phalogramme (EEG) et de mesure de la direction du regard a \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9 dans des environnements virtuels sp\u00e9cialement
\nd\u00e9di\u00e9s \u00e0 cette t\u00e2che. Ces derniers ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s en collaboration avec des sp\u00e9cialistes du domaine.
\nDeuxi\u00e8ment, gr\u00e2ce aux r\u00e9centes avanc\u00e9es en mati\u00e8re d\u2019intelligence artificielle (IA), diverses nouvelles approches pour traiter les signaux biom\u00e9dicaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9r\u00e9es. Ces avanc\u00e9es permettant au mieux d\u2019estimer l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019attention \u00e0 partir des mesures physiologiques.
\nFinalement, les d\u00e9couvertes faites au cours de cette th\u00e8se ont permis le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une nouvelle application. Celle-ci a pour but de maximiser ses<\/p>\n
