Ce sont des techniques applicables \u00e0 une tr\u00e8s large gamme de mat\u00e9riaux mais les recherches du groupes sont focalis\u00e9es plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment sur les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s optiques de nanocomposites plasmoniques (NCP). Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une classe de mat\u00e9riaux pour laquelle des nanoparticules m\u00e9talliques sont incluses dans une matrice di\u00e9lectrique ou semiconductrice. Dans ce contexte plus restreint, l\u2019expertise du groupe vise \u00e0 fabriquer, caract\u00e9riser et \u00e0 comprendre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle submicronique les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s optiques des NCP obtenus par voie chimique ou physicochimique.<\/p>\n<p>Cette orientation de la recherche n\u00e9cessite de d\u00e9velopper en parall\u00e8le les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de synth\u00e8se, les techniques d\u2019analyse telle que l\u2019imagerie ellipsom\u00e9trique spectroscopique et des m\u00e9thodes d\u2019analyse de donn\u00e9es issues du Data mining et adapt\u00e9es \u00e0 de larges jeux de donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Les recherches en cours concernent aussi les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s optiques des mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s dans les technologies des \u00e9nergies renouvelables (VO2, NiCrOx, WO3 \u2026), la conception d&#8217;empilements optiques pour les mat\u00e9riaux froids s\u2019inscrivant dans le concept \u00ab COOLROOF \u00bb et les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s optiques non lin\u00e9aires des mat\u00e9riaux nanoplasmoniques (indice de r\u00e9fraction non lin\u00e9aire et coefficient d\u2019absorption \u00e0 deux photons).<\/p>\n<p>Les sujets de recherches plus anciens concernent le greffage de surface des \u00e9l\u00e9ments optiques en vue de leur utilisation dans des techniques de biod\u00e9tection bas\u00e9es sur la spectroscopie infrarouge \u00e0 transform\u00e9e de Fourier, les aspects micro- et nanoscopiques du mouillage des surfaces et l\u2019h\u00e9mocompatibilit\u00e9 des polym\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Notre service est, par ailleurs rattach\u00e9 \u00e0 un institut de recherche de l\u2019UMONS :<\/p>\n<start-cask-shortcode-wrapper>\t\t<div class=\"associated-institutes content-block scheme-fs\">\n\t\t\t<ul class=\"institutes-list\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/web.umons.ac.be\/materiaux\" title=\"Acc\u00e9der au site web de : Institut \/ Mat\u00e9riaux\" class=\"associated-institute\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/web.umons.ac.be\/app\/uploads\/sites\/38\/2017\/12\/materiaux_logo_fr.svg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/div>\n <end-cask-shortcode-wrapper>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Les techniques exp\u00e9rimentales mises en \u0153uvre dans le cadre de la recherche men\u00e9es au LPMO sont diverses mais centr\u00e9es sur l\u2019ellipsom\u00e9trie spectroscopie et ses variantes telle que l\u2019imagerie ellipsom\u00e9trique ou la porosim\u00e9trie ellipsom\u00e9trique.
