I had the opportunity to do an internship in the field of reinforcement learning. It was a great experience!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n            \t<\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n                <div class=\"accordion-inner\">\n            <div class=\"accordion-bellow\">\n                <button class=\"accordion-bellow-toggle scheme-background-hover\" data-target=\"#accordion-content-630868ad6a616\">\n                    <span class=\"icon umons-icon-chevron-down\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span> Maksym IAKOVENKO                <\/button>\n            <\/div>\n            <div id=\"accordion-content-630868ad6a616\" class=\"accordion-content\">\n            \t<div class=\"inner editor-front\">\n            \t\t<p>Maksym, a computer science student at the University of MONS, joined MAIA Lab in August 2022 for a four-week internship in the field of deep learning. He created a code to play a video game using hand gestures.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I\u2019m Maksym, a Computer Science student from the University of Mons&rsquo; Faculty of Science. During my internship I was introduced to the concept of a convolutional neural network, that I then tried to apply to an image-based hand sign recognition system.
