The research activities of the unit cover a wide range of topics in the theoretical Physics of Fundamental interactions: Quantum Field Theory, String Theory and Gravitational Physics. The unit has a leading expertise in Higher-Spin Gravity, a mathematical framework that extends Einstein’s theory of General Relativity by the adjunction of an infinite tower of higher-spin gauge fields.<\/p>\n
