Originally held by ULB and VUB in Brussels together with KU Leuven, with Mons and Ghent joining, respectively, in 2009 and 2023, the current set of participating institutions is given by<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bel-center.be\/\" target=\"_blanck\" rel=\"noopener\">Brout Englert Lema\u00eetre Center<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, <a href=\"https:\/\/fys.kuleuven.be\/itf\/groups\/hep\" target=\"_blanck\" rel=\"noopener\">High Energy Physics and Relativistic Field Theory group<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.solvayinstitutes.be\/\" target=\"_blanck\" rel=\"noopener\">International Solvay Institutes<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Universit\u00e9 de Mons, <a href=\"https:\/\/web.umons.ac.be\/pucg\/\" target=\"_blanck\" rel=\"noopener\">Service de Physique de l&rsquo;Univers, Champs et Gravitation<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Universit\u00e9 Libre de Bruxelles, <a href=\"https:\/\/ptm.ulb.be\/\" target=\"_blanck\" rel=\"noopener\">Service de Physique Th\u00e9orique et Math\u00e9matique<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Universiteit Gent, <a href=\"https:\/\/hepth.ugent.be\/\">Theoretical High Energy Physics group<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Vrije Universiteit Brussel, <a href=\"https:\/\/we.vub.ac.be\/en\/theoretical-particle-physics\" target=\"_blanck\" rel=\"noopener\">Theoretical High Energy Physics group<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The seminars take place on most Wednesdays of the academic year, with the location varying among the aforementioned institutions, while speakers are invited from both inland and abroad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>10:30 &#8211; 11:30 first talk<br \/>\n11:30 &#8211; 12:00 coffee break<br \/>\n12:00 &#8211; 13:00 second talk<br \/>\n13:00 &#8211; 14:00 lunch<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.google.com\/calendar\/u\/0\/embed?src=dk57bbuqirfnmn2uatktvmn92k@group.calendar.google.com&amp;ctz=Europe\/Brussels\" target=\"_blanck\" rel=\"noopener\">Upcoming seminars<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/web.umons.ac.be\/pucg\/en\/research-activities\/joint-seminars-past-talks\/\">Past seminars<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Useful information for speakers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each seminar lasts about one hour, which should approximately consist in 50 minutes of talk, followed by 10 minutes of questions and discussion. The audience comprises the participating institutions&rsquo; professors, postdocs and students, who work on a wide range of topics in high-energy theory, from (super)gravity and cosmology to string theory and higher spins.
