Human Development and Data Processing Unit

Core courses in quantitative methods at FPSE; research and courses focused on diversity and human development issues.

The Human Development and Data Processing Department, headed by Professor Marielle Bruyninckx, mainly provides basic teaching in quantitative methods and courses focused on human development. Through their scientific expertise, its members contribute to the training of future psychologists, pedagogues and speech therapists in the fundamental principles of data analysis from a descriptive and inferential perspective. It also sensitizes them to the importance of taking diversity, respect for fundamental human rights and non-discrimination into consideration in their intervention practices. The unit's research is organized around axes that are consistent with these teaching activities.
