{"id":241,"date":"2022-05-20T12:01:32","date_gmt":"2022-05-20T10:01:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.umons.ac.be\/seco\/?page_id=241"},"modified":"2022-05-20T12:01:32","modified_gmt":"2022-05-20T10:01:32","slug":"acknowledgements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/web.umons.ac.be\/seco\/acknowledgements\/","title":{"rendered":"Acknowledgements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Over the years, several people have contributed to the implementation of the MATMOL toolbox :<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<ul>\n<li>Prof. William Schiesser (Lehigh University) has been instrumental in the development of the toolbox, particularly the finite difference methods which are largely based on the Fortran DSS\/2 library and the ODE solvers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<ul>\n<li>Dr. Filip Logist (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) has carefully tested the toolbox, making many useful suggestions and additions, and introducing new methods such as the operator splitting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<ul>\n<li>Dr. Carlos Vilas, currently researcher at IIM-CSIC (Vigo, Spain)\u00a0 contributed many results of his PhD work, including the Finite Element Method (re-implemented using FSELIB by C. Pozrikidis) and the Proper Orthogonal Decomposition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<ul>\n<li>Dr. Robert David developed the wastewater treatment models (available in the examples) during his PhD work at Universit\u00e9 de Mons<\/li>\n<li>Guillaume Chauvon implemented the geometrical ODE solvers and the associated examples<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Philippe Saucez and Alain Vande Wouwer<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;margin-left: 10px;float: left\" src=\"https:\/\/web.umons.ac.be\/app\/uploads\/sites\/76\/2022\/05\/dysco.gif\" alt=\"dysco\" width=\"88\" height=\"58\" \/>This website presents research results of the Belgian Network DYSCO (Dy- namical Systems, Control, and Optimization), funded by the Interuniversity Attraction Poles Programme, initiated by the Belgian Federal Science Policy Office (BELSPO).
