The Unit consolidates the work of teachers, researchers in the fields of language, culture and literature of the French-speaking world - defined as the "communities who speak French" - and, from these different fields of study, carries out many transversal projects in line with the teaching activities and other research activities of the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation (FTI). Thanks to the scientific expertise of its members, the French and Francophone Studies Unit contributes to the training of the entire FTI student community: translators, interpreters and teachers whose working language is French.
