Peut-elle \u00eatre plus juste ? Comment la per\u00e7oivent ses usagers ? Ces questions peuvent sembler simples. Elles sont d&rsquo;une redoutable complexit\u00e9. Cette th\u00e8se, s&rsquo;appuyant sur plusieurs travaux de recherche auxquels l&rsquo;auteur a collabor\u00e9, aborde ces questions sous l&rsquo;angle de la description du syst\u00e8me \u00e9ducatif, de la compr\u00e9hension de la mani\u00e8re dont les acteurs per\u00e7oivent le syst\u00e8me et ses injustices, et de la gestion du syst\u00e8me pour davantage de justice. La premi\u00e8re partie de la th\u00e8se, apr\u00e8s une revue de la litt\u00e9rature sur les th\u00e9ories de la justice et leur application \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation, se centre sur la description des m\u00e9canismes \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u0153uvre dans la cr\u00e9ation d&rsquo;in\u00e9galit\u00e9s injustes, relevant en particulier de la s\u00e9gr\u00e9gation socio-\u00e9conomique entre \u00e9tablissements scolaires. La seconde partie tente de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la question de savoir que mettre en \u0153uvre pour rendre l&rsquo;\u00e9cole plus juste, d&rsquo;une part en passant en revue les politiques d&rsquo;\u00e9ducation prioritaires existantes et leur \u00e9valuation, et d&rsquo;autre part en pr\u00e9sentant la d\u00e9marche prospective mise en \u0153uvre dans plusieurs recherches tentant de d\u00e9terminer \u00a0\u00bb ce qui pourrait marcher \u00ab\u00a0.
