Il d\u00e9crit les buts, les objectifs et les acteurs cl\u00e9s impliqu\u00e9s dans l&rsquo;approche \u00e9ducative de l&rsquo;orientation et fournit une approche structur\u00e9e bas\u00e9e sur six niveaux : les acteurs, les dispositifs, les pratiques, les questions principales, les objectifs et le but g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Quatre types de pratiques sont d\u00e9finis pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 quatre objectifs soci\u00e9taux principaux, qui sont li\u00e9s aux d\u00e9fis actuels auxquels la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 est confront\u00e9e.
