Le comportement des polym\u00e8res en phase solide et en solution sera discut\u00e9 ainsi que les techniques de d\u00e9termination des masses molaires. Seront alors expos\u00e9s les grands m\u00e9canismes de polym\u00e9risation : par \u00e9tapes et en cha\u00eene. Ces m\u00e9canismes seront compar\u00e9s et \u00e9tudi\u00e9s en relation directe avec la structure des polym\u00e8res qui sont ainsi synth\u00e9tis\u00e9s. Plus particuli\u00e8rement, nous insisterons sur les m\u00e9canismes de polym\u00e9risation anionique, cationique, radicalaire et par coordination, avec une attention sp\u00e9ciale sur la possibilit\u00e9 de contr\u00f4ler et ma\u00eetriser les architecture macromol\u00e9culaires. Les copolym\u00e9risations feront l&rsquo;objet d&rsquo;un chapitre du cours. Nous insisterons sur les facteurs qui d\u00e9terminent les rapports de r\u00e9activit\u00e9, la composition des copolym\u00e8res et la mani\u00e8re avec laquelle les unit\u00e9s comonom\u00e8res se distribuent le long des cha\u00eenes macromol\u00e9culaires. Des mod\u00e8les de pr\u00e9diction de composition, de distribution et de longueurs de s\u00e9quences seront propos\u00e9s, analys\u00e9s et compar\u00e9s aux donn\u00e9es exp\u00e9rimentales. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude de la transformation chimique des polym\u00e8res sera finalement abord\u00e9e et illustr\u00e9e par des exemples typiques faisant appel aux r\u00e9actions de la chimie organique. Il consiste en un examen des m\u00e9thodes de synth\u00e8se, des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s des mat\u00e9riaux polym\u00e8res et leurs applications. mat\u00e9riaux polym\u00e8res (Inkjet, FDM, SLS, SLA et bioprinting) en mettant l&rsquo;accent sur les diff\u00e9rents d\u00e9fis technologiques (vitesse de fabrication, propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques, r\u00e9solution, etc.) dans le d\u00e9veloppement de nouveaux mat\u00e9riaux polym\u00e8res de hautes performances. La gamme des polym\u00e8res rencontr\u00e9e dans la fabrication additive comprend les thermoplastiques, les \u00e9lastom\u00e8res, les hydrogels, les polym\u00e8res fonctionnels, les m\u00e9langes de polym\u00e8res, les (nano)composites et les syst\u00e8mes biologiques.
