Dr. Federico Cassioli was at the Basic Clinical and Multimodal Imaging (BaCI) conference<\/a> in Istanbul, the Meeting Point of Neuroelectrophysiology & Genetics. He presented two topics, one as a podium presentation and the other during the poster session. His podium presentation was about the research \u00ab\u00a0Unveiling the Influence of Automation on Morality: A Multi-modal Examination of the Trolley Problem\u00a0\u00bb, conducted with Dr. Davide Crivelli and Prof. Michela Balconi (both from the international research center for Applied Cognitive Neuroscience – IrcCAN, Department of Psychology, Universit\u00e0 Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Milan, Italy).This research connects the traditional line of moral dilemma research, known as the Trolley problem, with an electrophysiological approach. This involved collecting central and peripheral nervous data in a modified version of the problem that considers the impact of automation on moral reasoning.<\/p>\n

At the poster Session, Dr. Cassioli presented the Systematic review conducted in the framework of the CipSe (Centre for Interdisciplinarity research in psychophysiology and electrophysiology of cognition, University of Mons) and the Dystress Lab (DYSTRESS Lab, Department of Clinical Psychology, University of Mons)\u00a0 with Sara Scaletti (Ph.D. Student), Michel Sfeir (Ph.D. Student) and prof. Sarah Galdiolo and Mandy Rossignol. This review, entitled \u00ab\u00a0A systematic review on interbrain synchronization in psychopathological and neurodevelopment disorder\u00a0\u00bb focused on investigating inter-brain synchronization within the psychopathological domain.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
