Inauguration of the mGT lab
It is with great pleasure and honor that we invite you to the official inauguration of the laboratory of the Thermal Engineering and Combustion Research Unit of UMONS, dedicated to research on micro Gas Turbines and small-scale Brayton cycles. This event will mark a key milestone in our research and provide a unique opportunity to unveil the name and logo of this new facility.

On the Epargne/Joncquois campus of UMONS (practical details, including parking options, will be provided in the confirmation email).

• 5:00 PM – Welcome at Amphithéâtre Stiévenart, Rue du Joncquois, 53, Mons
• 5:30 PM – Presentations by:
◦ Prof. Ruddy Wattiez, Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at UMONS
◦ Prof. Marc Frère, President of the Research Institute for Energy
◦ Prof. Ward De Paepe, Thermal Engineering and Combustion Research Unit and Founder of the lab
• 6:00 PM – Official opening of the lab, including the unveiling of its official name and logo
• 6:10 PM – Open visit of the lab and installations, with opportunities to interact with researchers during the reception
