Thermodynamics and Mathematical Physics Unit
The Thermodynamics and Mathematical Physics Unit provides teaching in the fields of Basic Thermodynamics, Applied Thermodynamics and Chemical Thermodynamics, as well as in Renewable Energies and Sustainable Industrial Processes. These teaching activities are part of the education programme for Engineers, Engineers in Architecture, Economists and Managres as well as part of International Education programmes (ERASMUS MUNDUS Smart Cities and Communities). They are directly linked to our research activities that cover Energy and the Environment as well as Sustainable Industrial Processes. These research activities have both regional roots and an international dimension (mainly through participation in European projects). The Department is a member of the Energy and Materials Research Institutes of UMONS.
