Obtaining a Research Project

The Research Project "Dynamics of shift operators and related operators" funded by the F.R.S-FNRS commenced on 1st January 2026.

The F.R.S-FNRS has decided to grant funding to Quentin Menet for the Research Project entitled “Dynamics of shift operators and related operators” which will be conducted from 1st January 2026 to 31st December 2029. This will enable the Functional Analysis Unit to host a doctoral student and a post-doctoral researcher to study the dynamical properties of shift operators as well as related operators such as shifts on trees, dissipative composition operators and Lipschitz operators.
