Software Engineering Lab

The software engineering lab of the Computer Science Department at the Faculty of Sciences carries out research in the domain of software engineering, with a specific focus on software evolution, software ecosystems, and open source software.

Founded in October 2003, the Software Engineering Lab carries out research in the domains of software engineering, software modelling, software development, software evolution and open source software ecosystems. The lab is directed by Professor Tom Mens, and is part of the Department of Computer Science of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Mons, Belgium.

As an Academic Partner of Visual Paradigm, University of Mons is granted the use of Visual Paradigm for UML modeling, business process modeling, database design, etc.
