My name is Nicolas and I am a computer science student. I had the opportunity to do an internship in the field of reinforcement learning. It was a great experience!

Maksym, a computer science student at the University of MONS, joined MAIA Lab in August 2022 for a four-week internship in the field of deep learning. He created a code to play a video game using hand gestures.

I’m Maksym, a Computer Science student from the University of Mons’ Faculty of Science. During my internship I was introduced to the concept of a convolutional neural network, that I then tried to apply to an image-based hand sign recognition system. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the time I’ve spent learning new things about the field and applying this knowledge to a concrete task
