Metallurgy Unit

The Metallurgy Department is interested in everything that concerns metal alloys, from their production to their recycling. It works more particularly on "failure analysis" and has a laboratory which allows it to carry out expert assessments in this field in order to provide information on the origin of failures and to propose solutions. It has a world-renowned expertise in the field of surface treatments and more particularly in the field of electroless nickel deposition for which it has a patent for lead-free nickel-boron (under commercial license).
