Linear Dynamics is a relatively young field of research that has experienced remarkable growth over the past three decades. It was therefore the perfect time to bring together several experts in this field at Oberwolfach for a week of exchanges and collaborations.

Sophie Grivaux (Lille), Karl Grosse-Erdmann (Mons), Etienne Matheron (Lens) and Alfred Peris (Valencia) organised a Mini-Workshop in Oberwolfach from 7th to 12th April entitled “New Horizons in Linear Dynamics, Universality, and the Invariant Subspace Problem”. This meeting had two major objectives: to provide a conducive environment for discussions among researchers from various fields (Linear Dynamics, Universality, and Invariant Subspaces) as well as between established researchers in the field and the new generation. These days brought together 17 researchers of diverse origins around Presentations and Problem Sessions: Frédéric Bayart (France), Nilson C. Bernardes Jr. (Brazil), Rodrigo Cardeccia (Argentina), Fernando Costa Jr. (Brazil), Emma D’Aniello (Italy), Romuald Ernst (France), Clifford Gilmore (France), Sophie Grivaux (France), Karl Grosse-Erdmann (Belgium). Antoni López-Martínez (Spain), Martina Maiuriello (Italy), Myrto Manolaki (Ireland), Etienne Matheron (France), Quentin Menet (Belgium), Jürgen Müller (Germany), Dimitris Papathanasiou (Turkey), Alfred Peris (Spain).
