The Computer Networks lab was created in October 2009 and is part of the Computer Science Department of the Faculty of Sciences at UMONS. The lab is involved in teaching and research activities in computer networks. The main research interests of the lab are low-power communications for networked embedded systems (wireless sensor networks and Internet of Things / IoT), indoor localization based on UWB, and radio frequency fingerprinting identification. The teaching activities of the lab concern computer networks, computer architecture, cybersecurity and cryptography, algorithms and object-oriented programming, and simulation.
