>> CRéACTIFS


50 evenings of hands-on workshops from Oct to Dec. “CRéACTIFS!” is a series of 6 workshops for  those who wish to discover creative technologies. These free workshops are offered in the evening (from 18:00 to 20:00) and, as for the “Processing” workshops – “PureData” and “Arduino”, do not require any special prerequisites. Any of the workshops can be attended separately, without having followed the others. The “CRéACTIFS!” workshops are open to all and organized with the support of Creative Valley.

 

 


>> Hands on AI


Artificial Intelligence (AI), and in particular its Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Neural Nets (DNN) components, is experiencing considerable enthusiasm and success in many application fields. These include aeronautics, transport, health, finance, IT.

Various Teaching and Research departments of the Polytechnic Faculty and the Faculty of Sciences, supported by the UMONS Numediart and InforTech Research Institutes, offer an Artificial Intelligence University Certificate (Hands on AI) consisting of a 5-credit teaching module taught in the evening and a 5-credit “workshop” module given over a weekend.

>> CUTE: CUlture & TEchnology Summer School


 

CUTE is an annual summer school of one or two days during which experts came to explain ” hands in the sludge “, the functioning of a tool of their composition, in the theme Culture and Technology. The objective is to learn how to use these tools, and perceive their uses and limitations. CUTE 2022 was held on the 7th and 8th of July 2022.
