  • Researchers from UMONS at the heart of the fight against disinformation

    Matei Mancas, a researcher within the ISIA Service, represented UMONS at the UN's World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) in Geneva as an expert on Artificial Intelligence and disinformation. He notably presented the European research project AI4Debunk.

The UMONS Information, Signals and Artificial Intelligence Unit (ISIA) is part of the NUMEDIART Institute for Creative Technology, founded in 2010. It is also part of the INFORTECH Institute for Information Technology and Computer Science. It is also a founding member (2020) of the TRAIL interuniversity research institute in Artificial Intelligence.
