Research activities

The Nordic Studies Unit does research in the fields of languages, cultures and institutions. Opting for various approaches, the members of the unit have acquired a certain expertise in various areas dealing not only with translation studies, comparative linguistics and stylistics, especially of French and Danish, but also with inter-scandinavian perspectives, comparative grammar, language didactics, discourse analysis and textometry, ethnomusicology and oral traditions, literature (Nordic literature, comparative literature, youth literature, political literature and reception analysis), and literary translation (theatre, novels, tales, and short stories).
