Research activities

The Pedagogical engineering and digital education unit participates in various research activities by providing its expertise in different fields such as learning to read and write, the integration of technologies in the school context, digital skills and e-learning. Within the framework of the Pact for Excellence in Education, research activities are carried out to think about the digital transition in compulsory education. Thus, researchers are working on the one hand on Digital AU Education and on the other hand on Digital Education in French, mathematics, sciences, humanities and citizenship. Also in collaboration with the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, a pilot experiment on co-teaching in the 2nd cycle of basic school, learning to read and write, is being conducted. Within the framework of the European Interreg programme, the Pedagogical engineering and digital education unit is collaborating to build a training course to develop the digital skills of teachers and trainers. Furthermore, in the framework of the Erasmus + Conecte project and in partnership with the University of Saint Joseph in Beirut, Lebanon, the team offers its expertise in the field of virtual learning environments.
