Research activities

Currently, our research projects are as follows

  • the involvement of the pharmacist (community pharmacy) in the detection of frailty and the link between frailty and drug-related problems.
  • Fentapatch: Minimization of risks related to the misuse of used fentanyl patches
  • Reduced risk of infection linked to surgery (cooperation, hospital clinical pharmacy)
  • Pedagogy in clinical pharmacy (learning lab, teaching pharmacy)
  • Communication and patient reception: pharmaceutical care for visually impaired patients: development and structuring of pharmacy procedures

Our unit is also associated with the following UMONS research institutes :
