Research activities

The Information Systems research group of the University of Mons conducts fundamental research in topics related to database systems and knowledge base systems.  In recent years, the team has made several significant contributions to the research area known as database repairing and consistent query answering, with publications in world’s leading journals and conferences.  The research team is frequently solicited for its expertise in various areas related to database research, including symbolic artificial intelligence, data mining, and data integration.
