Content: 

Based on the work and experience of Geneviève Belleville (PhD and Professor at Laval University), this workshop aims to help researchers to set up favourable conditions for scientific writing, to restore a regular writing practice and to avoid pitfalls such as stress, procrastination and perfectionism.

At the end of the seminar, participants will be able to better identify strategies to write on a regular basis, while maintaining their motivation.

Objectives:

  • Define realistic and motivating writing goals,
  • Define a framework conducive to writing,
  • Tame the different phases of the writing process,
  • Better understand the mechanisms ofprocrastination and perfectionism.
