Description

In recent years, the ProtMic laboratory has been working on the cyanobacterium Arthrospira Platensis in the context of the Melissa project of the European Space Agency. In this context, we showed that a fraction of the biomass of this bacterium was able to increase the immunity of a number of plants. This project aims to better understand the molecules responsible for this activity and to elucidate the molecular mechanisms. At the same time, the observed activities will be compared with those obtained from other cyanobateries. This research project will be carried out in synergy with the biotech group of the MateriaNova research center.
