Research activities

Currently, our two main research focuses, which are human resource management (HRM) and corporate social responsibility (CSR), are declined around the following fields:

  • HRM focus :
    • Telework, gender and reconciliation of private and professional life o Staff development in Belgian and French SMEs
    • Study of the relationship between work contract, productivity and wages
    • Qualitative approach to job satisfaction practices
    • Recognition practices in agile organizations
  • -CSR focus :
    • Perception and role of SME managers in CSR approach
    • Study of the relationship between CSR, innovation and financial performance
    • Social responsibility of universities
    • Corporate strategy and eco-innovation
    • Sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship

Given the proximity between these two focuses, we also conduct research on the relationship between CSR and HRM.

Our research is conducted using both qualitative methodologies (case studies, interviews, …) and quantitative methodologies (surveys with statistical/econometric analysis).

We are interested in both private and public sector organizations, with a specific focus on companies and universities involved in responsible approaches.
