Content

How do you turn your research into policy impact?

In this session you will gain insights into the interaction of the different paradigms that researchers, policymakers and politicians operate in.

What is evidence-informed policymaking and what is expected from researchers? In short, you will discover what it takes to navigate the science-policy interface and make your research count beyond the scientific circles.

The trainer

Lene Topp has +15 years of experience working at the interface between science, policy and society, focusing on strengthening and institutionalizing Evidence-Informed Policymaking (EIPM) primarily in the European Commission and at Member State Level. Since 2023, Ms. Topp has been the Founder and Director of Topp Advice, an organization dedicated to bridging science, policy, and society through strategic advice on individual and institutional capacity building for EIPM.
