Developing and commercialising innovative chemistries and materials in the frame of sustainability – NIPU final event
“Developing and commercialising innovative chemistries and materials in the frame of sustainability“ |
We are pleased to invite you to the closing event of the European Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) NIPU project, titled “Developing and commercialising innovative chemistries and materials in the frame of sustainability,” which will take place at the University of Mons, Le CLICK, FROM FEBRUARY 18 TO 21, 2025.
This event, structured around four thematics, provides a unique opportunity to explore the role of innovative chemical and materials technologies in the transition to a circular and sustainable economy. It will be preceded by a separate discussion over the latest scientific and industrial advancements in the field of non-isocyanate polyurethanes (NIPU).
The program includes
- Days dedicated to sustainable business models and green chemistry, featuring case studies and presentations from industrial partners to address these challenges.
- A scientific conference on NIPUs and their impact on reducing plastic pollution.
- Workshops on sustainable funding and career prospects for young MSCA researchers.
- A visit to Materia Nova, one of UMONS’s Innovation Centers, at the forefront of developing tomorrow’s materials in the fields of polymers and surface coatings.
The event, which will focus on the needs and expectations of our MSCA fellows, will bring together researchers, professionals, and key stakeholders in the field, from local and international institutions, providing a valuable space for exchange to explore current and future challenges and opportunities in sustainable chemistry and new materials. A lot of room will be left for discussion.
