Description

This training is mandatory for PhD candidates at UMONS (exceptions may apply – e.g. prior equivalent training). PhD candidates are required to complete the online Mind The GAP modules, beforehand, followed by a short in-person session. The session addresses essential challenges in today’s research : defining fair authorship, managing research data responsibly, handling conflicts of interest or navigating the promises and pitfalls of AI.

Please note that the in-person session includes a short knowledge check, and successful completion is formally certified.

!! We also would like to draw your attention on the fact that online modules are available in English, but in-person session training will take place in French. 

The next session will take place on Monday 5th May 2026, from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm – Location: room Mirzakhani (Campus de la Plaine de Nimy). Othe sessions will be planed every year.
