Description

The aim of the training is to make all young researchers aware of good practices in teamwork in the business world, which are also applicable in the academic sector.

The workshop includes a review of management concepts and governance frameworks, an overview of relational dynamics and behaviours in uncomfortable situations that can be encountered in the workplace, and a sharing of communication tools. While addressing professional and assertive behaviour, the training encourages participants to reflect on their own behaviour at work and explores possible approaches and alternatives through individual and group exercises in a participatory approach.

About the trainer

A graduate of the Louvain School of Management and the Centre for the Study of Crises and International Conflicts at UCL, Sylvie Jamar has gained experience in the corporate world at both national and international level in project management, commerce and team management. For more than 10 years, she has been working as a mediator, facilitator and business coach, supporting individuals and groups through change processes at work.
