Description
Social state’s development and evolution, as it has been constructed in the West since the industrial revolution, are at the center of historical, political and social struggles. The debate between the various currents of political thought which have intervened in the changes of the social state since its constitution is also fueled by other representations of what might be the new social state. One of these representations is Basic Income. This new conception of the social state, of which there are many variations, gives rise, moreover, to the ideological oppositions between its defenders and its detractors, tensions within promoters of this idea. This research intends to study, through the analysis of political theories, historical interpretations and social fields mobilized, the elements that are deployed in the debate that arises around the Basic Income.
