Languages
Good command of modern languages is essential for graduates from the Faculty of Science, and we also ensure that our students are able to communicate appropriately in their native tongue.
During their studies, students will learn how to communicate the results of their work in French, both in writing and orally.
In the second half of the 20th century, English became the common language of research in sciences, and since then it has also played a key role in many professions. This fact has led the Faculty of Science to include compulsory English classes in all of its course programmes.
Moreover, in several programmes of the Faculty, a certain number of credits are reserved for electives, so that students can follow additional language courses, should they wish.
