Outgoing Mobility (OUT)
The Faculty of Translation and Interpretation – School of International Interpreters (FTI-EII) has been involved in various European mobility programmes since it was first established.
Obtained by UMONS in 2011, the ERASMUS label strengthens and guarantees the quality of mobility between the Faculty and its partner institutions around the world.
Students at the Faculty are encouraged to spend the third year of their Bachelor’s degree at a university abroad. The FTI-EII offers them the opportunity to spend a semester or a whole year in destinations as diverse as Austria, Belarus, China, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States. This international mobility enables students to benefit from a different student experience, which is both academically and personally rewarding. The work placement at the end of the Master’s degree can also be carried out abroad.
