Research activities

Our research activities are focused on modelling and experimentation in manufacturing technology (conventional and robotic machining, additive manufacturing; metals, composites, ceramics), mechanical design and maintenance 4.0. The Unit hosts the GMAKE prototyping laboratory, which is open to UMONS members and our partners.

The Unit is particularly receptive to industrial issues and can offer various forms of collaboration (expertise, design projects, end-of-study work, supervised internships, doctoral theses, research projects, etc.).
