Interns

Jonas’s in the 3rd year of bachelor’s degree in computer science option development at the Haute Ecole en Hainaut. Jonas’s internship at ISIA Lab started on Monday, February 7 2022. He works on two projects: the aptitude project and the creation of a website for the Association de Gaming et d’Esport Montoise (AGEM).

Jonas: ”  I am passionate about the world of video and board games and I am a big consumer. I am also interested in everything related to multimedia (writing, directing, acting and video editing), basic photo editing, the creation of vector and pixelated images, 3D sculpture and everything related to digital creation. I chose ISIA Lab in particular because I’m very interested in the AI technology and aptitude project.”

Nicolas’s enrolled in a master’s programme in computer science with a major in artificial intelligence at ISEN Lille. Nicolas started his internship on Monday, 09 May 2022. He worked on two AI projects: the first one was to train a model to synchronize 2 sequences of videos from two different cameras. The second one was the identification/re-identification and localization of a user based on audio and visual.

Nicolas: “My passion for new technologies, their ability to transform the world and the infinite possibilities they open to us, motivate me to work in this field and more specifically in artificial intelligence. Indeed, using my skills to understand, process and model current data to answer future problems is my greatest motivation. Being able to do an internship at the ISIA Lab is a great opportunity to gain experience with researchers working on the latest AI models.”

Antoine’s enrolled in a Master’s programme in Comuter Science with specialization in Artificial Intelligence at Junia ISEN Lille. His internship started on Monday, May 9th 2022. He’s working on generating consistent non verbal reactions for an avatar during a human-agent exchange.

Antoine : “I always loved the digital world and fascinated by the all the possibilites it has to offer. Since Highschool I tried to practice myself on various domains of development (from making websites to build complete video games) and I really enjoyed spending time on it. Making this internship at ISIA Lab is a real opportunity for me to learn many new things in AI and develop my technical skills.”
