Lancement de l’appel à projets du programme Connect with Wallonia (C2W) ce 1er décembre
Come 2 | Connect with Wallonia est un programme postdoctoral européen basé sur la mobilité entrante (action Marie Skłodowska Curie COFUND) ouvert à tous les domaines de recherche. Le programme comporte également des axes de formation à la recherche et de développement de carrière pour les chercheurs qui seront sélectionnés.
Pour mettre ce projet sur les rails, la Commission Européenne a débloqué un financement total de 4,5 millions d’euros. Un budget dont bénéficieront l’UMONS (comme université coordinatrice) et l’UNamur. Très concrètement, celui leur permettra de recruter 30 chercheurs étrangers expérimentés (postdoctorants) en mobilité internationale pendant 2 ans au cours des 5 prochaines années.
Pour les deux Universités partenaires, les objectifs sont clairs : renforcer leur attractivité auprès de brillants chercheurs en mobilité internationale tout en accroissant leur visibilité pour stimuler d’autres fonds. Une véritable challenge à relever pour offrir aux chercheurs internationaux, les meilleures conditions d’accueil et de travail au sein de nos universités.

Launch of the Connect with Wallonia (C2W) call for projects on December 1st
The C2W Connect with Wallonia call for projects opens this Wednesday, December 1st. This program aims to offer experienced researchers an exceptional opportunity to develop new skills and competencies by implementing a research project with a strong interdisciplinary orientation.
Come 2 | Connect with Wallonia is a European postdoctoral program based on incoming mobility (Marie Skłodowska Curie COFUND action) open to all research fields. This prgram also includes research training and career development aspects for the selected researchers,.
To put this project on track, the European Commission has released a total funding of 4.5 million euros. A budget from which the UMONS (as coordinating university) and UNamur will benefit. In concrete terms, it will allow them to recruit 30 experienced foreign researchers (post-doctoral fellows) for international mobility for 2 years over the next 5 years.
For the two partner Universities, the objectives are clear: to reinforce their attractiveness to brilliant researchers in international mobility while increasing their visibility to stimulate other funds. This is a real challenge to offer international researchers the best possible conditions of welcome and work within our universities.
