Description

Robotic machining consist in the gathering of a machining spindle with a robotic arm. As compared to traditional milling machines, this kind of device offer a higher freedom in the choice of machining trajectories. In retunr, the lower ridigity can lead to the maching of parts not fullfilling the machining allowances or vibratory unstabilities. The goal of the research is to optimise the quality of parts machined with a robot by acting on the trajectories, the control strategy or the cutting parameters. The TX200 robot of the faculty of engineering will be used in association with a numerical model of the process.
