French Courses

Linguistic and cultural integration of non-Francophone students and researchers!

The Centre for Modern Languages (CLV) organises the following types of French as a foreign language (FLE) courses:

• Preparatory courses before the start of the academic year
• Classes spread out over the academic year
• Cultural integration activities

FLE courses are open to all students and staff (including PhD students, researchers, visiting professors, etc.) whose level of French needs improving in order to pursue studies at UMONS. A placement test is held at the start of each semester to determine the student’s initial level.
