Non-EU student – Your arrival in Belgium

Registration at UMONS:
As a reminder, if a study visa is required, you must be in Belgium by 30th September at the latest in order to register.
Once the admission procedure has been completed and you have arrived in Belgium, you must complete your registration. To do this, you must log in to the account you created when you applied for admission, which will enable you to establish the link between your admission and your online application https://gestac.umons.ac.be/online/
You will need to complete your application with the following documents:
- a valid passport (photo of your identity card and the page bearing the stamp of your arrival in Belgium)
- your residence permit (if you already have one)
- any documents requested to complete your application (for example, letter from the board when you were accepted). Refer to the acceptance letter.
- payment of the increased registration fees or the documents proving assimilation, if applicable.
If you were already enrolled at a higher education establishment within the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, enclose a certificate confirming that you have no debts with the establishment (the official certificate confirming that you have no debts with your last higher education establishment in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation is required for studies commenced from 2014-2015).
If you have already been enrolled at UMONS, you must go to the Registration Office desk during opening hours to complete a paper application form.
