SMACCs Summer School on Smart Cities and Communities

The first SMACCs Summer School on Smart Cities and Communities is organized within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree on Smart Cities and Communities (www.smaccs.eu). This is a hybrid event, with face-to-face and remote attendance/presentation possibilities, organized at the University of Mons by the SMACCs consortium (University of Mons – Belgium, Heriot-Watt University – UK, International Hellenic University – Greece and Universidad del Pais Vasco – Spain). Remote attendance will be ensured via the use of MS Teams. ​

The Summer School features the Master Thesis presentation of 18 Intake 1 SMACCs students, as well as seminars given by 9 renowned experts in the field of Smart Cities. ​​

Registration is mandatory. Deadline for registration is the 30th of June 2021. ​

Remote participation to the Summer School is free of charge. ​

Face-to-face participation to the Summer School (presentations only) is free of charge. Lunches, gala dinner, and the visit of the 7th of July 2021 are free of charge for SMACCs students, academic staff and coordinators, as well as guest lecturers.
