Fields of research
At the School of Human and Social Sciences (SSHS), research plays a central role.
Our lecturers and researchers actively contribute to the production and dissemination of knowledge, closely connected to contemporary issues. Their work helps to better understand the social, political, cultural and economic transformations shaping our societies.
Research at SSHS is developed through a collaborative approach at local, national and international levels. It is supported by partnerships with universities and research centres, scientific networks, public institutions, international organisations, as well as cultural, social and socio-economic stakeholders.
These collaborations encourage interdisciplinary approaches, the sharing of expertise and the development of research grounded in real-world issues.
This scientific environment directly enriches the programmes offered at SSHS. Students benefit from up-to-date teaching informed by research and are introduced to the methods and practices of the human and social sciences.
