A Dynamic School
The ESHS is about more than just attending classes. We give our students the opportunity to attend conferences and participate in varied and exciting activities, just like the BSHS course.
In 2011, we were honoured to welcome Rudy Demotte, Minister-President of Wallonia and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
In 2013, Koen Lenaerts, Vice-President of the European Court of Justice, was our guest of honour.
And in 2014, with the support of the ESHS, the theme of the elections was at the heart of a major debate organised by the AGE Psycho-SHS association. Based on this success, a year later, a member of AGE Psycho-SHS was invited to the second year of the Grand Debate to report on “the elections one year later”.
A Ugandan researcher-teacher was also invited to the ESHS to present a board game he invented, the aim of which is to educate local stakeholders on the human and environmental consequences of agricultural and industrial activities.
In the spring of 2016, during the migrant crisis, the ESHS organised a series of well-attended conferences on the theme of “Refugees: Multiple Challenges”, led by specialists and actors in the field.
